Why Plant Leather
A kinder choice, deliberately made.
We did not make this choice quietly. The traditional animal leather industry is responsible for both animal cruelty and environmental harm.
We choose plant leather because true luxury cannot come from harm. Our materials begin with plants that already exist: repurposed coffee grounds and bamboo that regenerates without replanting. Nothing is taken from an animal.

Coffee Leather
Used for the Espressa Shoulder Bag, our coffee leather is made from repurposed spent coffee grounds sourced from Brazilian coffee, grounds that would otherwise go to waste, transformed through an innovative process into a structured leather with an elevated finish.

Bamboo Leather
Used for the Bambote Soft Tote, our bamboo leather is made from bamboo harvested in Vietnam, one of the world's most responsible bamboo-growing regions. Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants on Earth, capable of growing up to one meter per day, and regenerating without replanting, without pesticides or fertilisers, and with very little water.
