VOGAYA works with two: bamboo leather, made from bamboo harvested in Vietnam and used for the Bambote, and coffee leather, made from repurposed Brazilian coffee grounds and used for the Espressa. Both are made without animal skin and finished to a luxury standard.

Bamboo leather is a leather alternative made from the bamboo plant, harvested in Vietnam. The bamboo is broken down into fibre, refined into pulp and transformed into a soft, supple material with the look and hand feel of fine leather, without any animal skin. We use it for the Bambote.

Coffee leather is a leather alternative made from repurposed spent coffee grounds, sourced from Brazilian coffee. The grounds that would otherwise go to waste are processed and bound into a dense, durable material, finished with a glossy, croc-embossed surface. We use it for the Espressa.

Each style is developed around the behaviour of its material. The Espressa is built in coffee leather, a denser structure with a glossy, croc-embossed finish. The Bambote is built in bamboo leather, softer and more fluid. The construction, lining and hardware are chosen so the shape holds over years of use.

Wipe gently with a barely damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Coffee leather can be buffed with a soft, dry cloth to restore its shine. On bamboo leather, blot moisture gently and never rub.

Store it loosely stuffed in the VOGAYA dust bag, out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources.

Light moisture is not a problem if you blot it gently and let it dry naturally, but avoid water immersion. Also keep the bag away from lotions, oils and perfumes, and handle it with dry hands.

Bamboo leather can pick up light impressions from contact or contents. That is simply a mark of its softness and it typically evens out with wear.

Yes. Delivery is free and next-day across the UAE, 3 to 5 business days across the GCC, and 5 to 7 business days worldwide, including the USA, UK and Europe. International shipping is fulfilled through DHL's GoGreen programme, which offsets delivery emissions.

You may return an item within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date, unworn and in its original condition. Return shipping is complimentary, worldwide, and we arrange it for you.

Approved returns are refunded in full to the original payment method used at checkout, never as store credit. Please allow 7 to 10 business days from the date we receive and inspect your item.
