Designed in Dubai. Recognised in the Netherlands. A moment that feels especially close to home.

Some recognition feels personal. Seeing VOGAYA in the Future Fabrics Trendbook is one of those moments. I am Dutch, and to see the brand I founded highlighted in the Netherlands makes this feature extra special.

A place in Future Fabrics

Written by Maesanne Doornik, the Future Fabrics Trendbook launched earlier this month at Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week. Its pages feature VOGAYA and our bags made from coffee leather and bamboo leather.

The photographs here offer a look inside the feature: our story, our plant-leather materials and the pieces they become. It is a pleasure to see these ideas shared in a book devoted to the future of fabrics.

From Dubai, with Dutch roots

VOGAYA is designed in Dubai, but my Dutch roots are part of who I am. Seeing the brand recognised in my home country brings those two parts of my life together. This is not only a feature for VOGAYA. For me, it is a moment of connection.

A message worth sharing

Our belief remains simple: beauty should never require harm. Coffee leather and bamboo leather are the materials through which we express it. To see VOGAYA included in Future Fabrics is a meaningful opportunity for that message to reach new readers.

Thank you to Maesanne Doornik for highlighting VOGAYA, and to everyone discovering our story through the Future Fabrics Trendbook.
